Our partners at Travel Freely noticed that Capital One has added new wording to the terms and conditions on credit card applications for the Capital One Venture X and the Capital One Venture Rewards cards.
The exact wording: “Existing or previous cardmembers are not eligible for this product if they have received a new cardmember bonus for this product in the past 48 months.”
Apparently, this new statement is also appearing on other Capital One personal cards. You can read Travel Freely’s post here.
So basically, Capital One has implemented the same restrictions as some other banks with a 4-year rule. I’m not surprised.
