New Transfer Bonus! Capital One 20% Bonus to Air France/KLM Flying Blue

From now until 7/31/23, Capital One has a 20% transfer bonus to Air France/KLM Flying Blue. Instead of the usual 1:1 transfer ratio, this month you can get 1200 Flying Blue miles for every 1000 Capital One miles.

Like most other airlines, Air France and KLM have variable award pricing. Recently, when I looked for award seats to Europe for next summer, I could not find the same low award prices that I’ve gotten in the past. But, things change every day. I will be looking at the Flying Blue program every day this month to see if it makes sense for me to transfer some miles during this transfer bonus period.

As with all transfers, I don’t recommend you transfer miles speculatively. Even though there is a bonus, you may not find a good award price for when you want to travel. However, if you see a flight that works now, you may as well get it for cheaper with this transfer bonus.
