Citi AA Card with 75k Bonus Miles!

April 7, 2023 By Nancy 1 Comment

The Citi/AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite Mastercard is back to a 75k bonus offer. Let’s take a look at the details.

Citi/AADvantage Platinum Select World Elite Mastercard

For a limited time, the Citi/AADvantage Platinum Select World Elite Mastercard (our affiliate link) has a bonus of 75,000 American Airlines miles for new cardmembers.

  • 75,000 bonus miles after spending $3500 in the first 4 months
  • Annual fee of $99 is waived the first year
  • Earn 2X miles at gas stations, restaurants and on AA purchases
  • Earn 1X miles on all other purchases
  • No foreign transaction fees
  • Free checked luggage on domestic flights for you and up to 4 traveling companions
  • Preferred boarding group

Note: You are not eligible for this card if you have earned the bonus in the last 48 months. See this post for more details.

My husband and I both own this credit card. We got it last year when the bonus was at the same elevated level of 75,000 miles. We’ve had very good luck finding AA Web Special Awards and flying on domestic flights for ~10,000 miles each way. We used AA miles to book flights to New York City for the U.S. Open, flights to Florida on Spring Break and flights to Chicago over Thanksgiving.

If you decide to apply for this card, please use our affiliate link. Thank you for your support!

To really maximize your stash of AA miles, you and a partner or spouse can each apply for this card separately to earn double the bonus miles.

In addition to this Citi AA card, Barclays also has the Aviator Red Mastercard (non-affiliate link) that currently offers 50k bonus miles after one purchase. You can own both AA cards.
