I recently bought a Discount Den membership for the second time last month. The math made sense for the flights we needed. I’m not sure I’ll get any future use out of it, but who knows?
Anyone planning to jump on this deal?

I’ve never flown Frontier but fares look lower than Southwest and others. Any comments or advice about this airline?

@Boonie Frontier is the ultimate low-cost carrier. The seats don’t even have full-size tray tables (which annoys my kids–haha!). There is a charge for everything extra, just like Spirit. However, I’ve flown Frontier to Denver and Orlando, and it gets the job done cheaply. But honestly, unless you see a Discount Den fare that you want to book now, I’d probably hold off on purchasing a membership.

Yes. Frontier sucks. There is almost no legroom, the tray tables barely fit a drink they are so tiny, there are always kids screaming and yelling up a storm on every flight, they are always late, they charge an arm and a leg for you to check bags or bring a carry on that doesn’t fit under your seat or to even choose a seat. If you need a last minute cheap flight and do not care about how terrible the experience will be, then fly frontier. Otherwise, fly anyone else except Spirit. They are the only ones worse than Frontier for the same reasons.
