Air France KLM Flying Blue Lowers Mileage Requirements for Transatlantic Economy Rewards: Last month, we shared a post on social media about low economy award prices on Air France from many U.S. cities to Paris. According to Frequent Flyer Bonuses, Air France confirmed that these lower award prices are here to stay. I see flights from DFW to CDG for just 20,000 miles.
This makes me seriously tempted to jet off to Paris for the weekend! (And prices can be even lower with transfer bonuses to Air France/KLM from Citi, Chase, and Amex that occur frequently. Amex currently has a 25% transfer bonus to Air France/KLM.)
Earn 70,000 Miles with 1 Purchase with Barclays Hawaiian Card: I saw this deal on Miles to Memories. I love credit card bonuses that only require one purchase (plus the $99 annual fee). I’m tempted to get this card as well as the business version for a future trip to Hawaii. I hear that award availability isn’t great, though, and it’s tough to use the miles on partner airlines. Is anyone else tempted by this offer?
Airlines that Let Passengers Buy Empty Seat Next to Them for Cheap: I wish more airlines did this! See this post on Your Mileage May Vary.
Act Now: Earn 5000 AA Loyalty Points with New Bank Account: My husband and I both have Bask Bank accounts and I’ve written about them before. Now, there is an offer for new account members that includes 5000 AA loyalty points (NOT miles). See this post on View From the Wing. I don’t fly enough to chase status, but I still like getting my monthly interest in the form of miles.
Princess Cruises Reveals 1st Details of Giant New Ship for 2024: I guess Princess Cruises is joining the others with a new mega ship. See the details at TPG. Although the ship doesn’t appear to have a lot of bells and whistles for kids & teens, I am open to trying any cruise line for the right ship and the right itinerary.
