My favorite card for miles and points newbies, the Chase Sapphire Preferred, currently has a great sign-up bonus of 80,000 points. This is one of the hottest credit card offers out there right now. Unfortunately, this offer ends on 5/31 at 6 p.m. ET. I’m not sure what the offer will be after that, but you can bet it will be lower.
I personally own this card, and I love it. I frequently transfer my Chase points to Hyatt, Southwest and United.
Here are the offer details:
- 80,000 bonus points (Chase Ultimate Rewards points) after spending $4000 in the first three months
- 3X points on dining
- 5X points on travel purchases through the travel portal
- 2X on other travel purchases
- $50 annual hotel credit
- $95 annual fee
The sign-up bonus is worth at least $800 in travel, and possibly more if you transfer points to travel partners. See my previous post for more details on this card.
