I’m Terrible at Sleeping on Planes: I was shocked to read this post on One Mile at a Time. It never occurred to me that I might have any issues sleeping on our upcoming flight to Paris (which will be my first time ever in a lie-flat seat). I always assumed I could never sleep on a plane because of the lack of recline. Reading the comments of that post made me realize I need to make sure I don’t forget my noise-canceling headphones, which I’m convinced were the key to my family getting at least a few hours of sleep on our 17-hour flight from DFW to Sydney.

I can NVER sleep on flights either. Even with a lie-flat seat. Normally I can sleep anywhere. Work. Floor. Car. But put me on a plane and I might doze 15 minutes and even then only if it’s a early morning flt. I don’t know what it is. The excitement of travel? Not wanting to miss anything while being in F? But sleep for even and hour? forget it.

Oh dang! That’s tough. I’m not expecting to get 6 hours of sleep on our flight, but I’m hoping for at least 2-3 hours.
