New IHG Offers, Is Kids Sail Free Really a Deal and More

March 25, 2022 By Nancy 3 Comments

New IHG Credit Card Offers: IHG just rolled out a new business card with 140k bonus. The IHG Premier card also currently has 140k bonus and the IHG Traveler card has 120k bonus. I plan to write about these cards more in depth soon.

Is Kids Sail Free Really a Deal?: It’s been forever since Royal Caribbean has had a Kids Sail Free event, but it’s happening now! Sometimes these sales just mean inflated prices on adult fares, but not always. Check out this pricing analysis by Moms at Sea. Unfortunately, my two upcoming Royal cruises aren’t included in this promotion.

How to Pack for Europe: I’m in awe of how Kim Holderness (YouTube star and winner of the last Amazing Race) packed for a month in Europe. See this video. I want to pack lite for my summer trip to Europe since we will need to climb stairs and take a lot of trains with suitcases in tow.

Capital One Entertainment Offers a New Way to Redeem Points: Capital One just rolled out a new way to redeem points. See this post on Miles to Memories. I haven’t checked out these redemptions yet. But, I’d like to attend more local events/festivals, so this change could be great.

Enjoy your weekend!

Is the IHG Traveler card a totally different product than the old card that has the $49 annual fee? Can you get all 3 of them? I have the $49 annual fee one and the Premier….

@HML Yes, the Traveler card is a different product. To be honest, I’m not sure if you can have all 3. The terms on the traveler card say this: “This product is available to you if you do not have a current IHG® Rewards Credit Card and have not received a new Cardmember bonus within the last 24 months.” I googled around, and it seems that some people interpret this as you can get it as long as you don’t have the exact card already. I’ll let you know if I hear any further clarification.

No, can’t apply for another personal card anymore if you already have a personal card is the way I interpret it. You could do it before. I should have applied for another personal while I had the chance. However, you can apply for the business card while holding a personal card.
