Today, Hyatt started a one-week sale for World of Hyatt members. Get 25% off hotel stays April 1 – May 31, 2022. You must book your stay by March 22, 2022 using the special offer code “PRIVATE”.

Of course, this sale has a bunch of fine print:

Select hotels are participating
Bookable only on Hyatt.com, World of Hyatt app or through Hyatt Global Contact Center or your travel agent
25% discount is off the standard rate, which isn’t necessarily the lowest rate
Not valid with groups, conventions or other special rates
Not valid for previously booked stays
Offer not valid at Hyatt Residence Club, Miraval, MGM, UrCove, Small Luxury Hotels of the World locations and at locations in the AMR Collection brands
Blackout periods may apply
Hotels in the Americas require prepayment but can be canceled 72 hours prior to arrival date for a full refund
Europe, Africa, Middle East and Southwest Asia hotels: 2-night minimum, requires full prepayment but can be canceled 72 hours prior to arrival date, includes daily breakfast and 20% off food at select locations
Asia Pacific hotels (excluding Mainland China): same as above except 10% off food at select locations
Mainland China hotels are not participating in this promotion

Am I Taking Advantage of this Promotion?

I have one stay at a Hyatt planned during the April 1 – May 31 timeframe. Unfortunately, the hotel I want to visit is not participating in this promotion. And in fact, no nearby hotels are participating. Bummer!

Still, 25% off isn’t too shabby if you find something that will already work for your existing plans or if it’s compelling enough for you to make new plans.
