Disney Cruise Line Postpones Test Cruise: DCL postponed the test cruise that was scheduled for earlier this week because 5 crew members tested positive for Covid (although it appears they were false positives). Read more about it on Disney Cruise Line Blog. DCL has also extended its flexible options and extended its final payment deadlines. I am on pins and needles waiting to see if my October DCL cruise will happen.
Royal Caribbean Picking Up Steam: Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean is resuming cruises. Guests have already begun sailing on Adventure of the Seas out of The Bahamas. Tomorrow, Freedom of the Seas will begin sailing from Miami. Also, guests who are unhappy with the health protocols onboard can get a full refund of their future cruise credits. Resorts World in Las Vegas: This is the first new resort to open in Las Vegas in 11 years. See this review on The Points Guy. Are you interested in checking out this new place? My husband hates Vegas (he’s been to too many work conventions there) but I think there are several cool things to do there that don’t involve gambling.
