Truths About TPG Podcast: I don’t listen to podcasts a lot, but one of my favorite blogs (Miles to Memories) has a weekly podcast. This week on their podcast, they talk about the big corporation behind The Points Guy.

9 Ways a Surprise Trip Can Go Horribly Wrong: Check out this post on Bald Thoughts. My husband knows not to surprise me with a trip because he is terrible at the details. Plus, I love the planning part of travel!

CDC Drops Mask Requirements for Vaccinated Individuals: This was big news yesterday! See the details on View From the Wing. Masks are still required on planes, trains and busses. Plus, many businesses require masks regardless. I’ll be interested to see if some places back off this requirement now.

The Best Place for Travel and Research Planning: I agree with this post on Your Mileage May Vary. Facebook groups are very helpful for travel research and planning!

Thanks for sharing, Nancy. Literally every trip is a surprise for my wife. She prefers that I do all the planning and she’s just along for the ride. She’ll tell me places she wants to go or things she wants to do, then it’s up to me to make it happen. HAHA

@Lee Ha! That’s pretty much the way it works with me and my husband, except I’m the one who does all the planning. I might tell him some details, but he may or may not be listening. 🙂
