3 Conveniences I Wish Disney World Offered

Disney World has been on my mind a lot lately. Maybe it’s the dreary weather here or the fact that we had to cancel our Disney World vacation earlier this year. But, I can’t help dreaming about our rescheduled trip next summer.

While I do love the Disney parks, there’s no question that traipsing around in them all day can be a total beating. I’m completely exhausted by the end of the day, and so are my kids. With that in mind, I wish Disney World offered these conveniences:

Card-member Lounges

I would love for Disney World to have card-member lounges similar to airport lounges. All we need is an air conditioned place to escape the heat and rest our feet for a few minutes. I’m picturing something with charging stations, drinks and maybe light snacks.

These lounges could be exclusive to Chase Disney Visa card holders, or offered at an extra cost. Of course, capacity would need to be monitored. But, I think these would be a big hit with many people.

Pre-check for Resort Guests

I wish Disney World had a pre-check option (sort of like TSA Pre-check in airports) for resort guests. Our bags could be pre-screened at resort bus stops before boarding. Then, once at the parks, resort guests could skip the security lines and funnel through a separate gate.

This would not only allow resort guests to enter the parks faster, but it would also decrease the crowd bottlenecks in front of the parks.

Foot Massagers

I’m not even kidding. The resorts need foot massagers! At the end of the day, many people have blisters and sore feet. How much would I pay to have a foot massage at the end of a long day in the parks? A lot! The solution could be some type of automatic machine/foot soaker, or actual people who massage like at a pedicure at a nail salon. Who is with me here???

Of course, all of these ideas cost money. And with the current pandemic situation and capacity controls, I’m sure Disney is not willing to fork over the capital for my convenience ideas.

What other conveniences do you wish the Disney parks offered?
