Why Business Travel Will Never Return: This is an interesting opinion piece from View From the Wing. I agree. I know my husband will be traveling much, much less this year. Maybe after the vaccine, travel will go back up. But then again, people will be used to having video calls instead of face-to-face meetings.

The Evil Cancelation Game Airlines are Playing with Passengers: See this post on God Save the Points. It’s infuriating! I’m playing chicken with an airline right now.

Why Hasn’t Air Travel Been Suspended?: After seeing reports of empty planes flying, I’ve wondered why airlines are even flying at all. Mark from Miles to Memories explains why.

Capital One Adds Food and Streaming Redemptions: Per Doctor of Credit, Capital One Venture and VentureOne cardholders can now use miles to erase food takeout/delivery and streaming services from statements through June 30. This is a nice-to-have option considering that most of us can’t use these miles for travel right now.

Southwest Extends Companion Pass: Yesterday, I received an email from Southwest stating that Companion Pass holders will now have an extra six months to use their pass. The new expiration date is June 30, 2021. Southwest is also extending status, extending expiration dates for travel funds, and giving the option to convert travel funds to Rapid Rewards points. You can read all of the details here.
