When I saw this headline on social media, I thought for sure it was FAKE NEWS. Apparently not!
Earlier today around noon, a boat on the Jungle Cruise ride at Disney World started filling with water. According to reports, there was about 18 inches of water in the bottom of the boat as passengers were rescued by Reedy Creek Fire Department. You can see photos of the boat on Twitter here and here as well as the full article here.
Can you imagine? My youngest kid would have freaked out! So unexpected.
The attraction has since reopened. I wonder what Disney did for the passengers on board? Fastpasses for the rest of the day? I hope so!
