Shut Down! US Bank Closes All my Credit Card Accounts: I read this post a few days ago by Benjy on Miles to Memories. I’m disappointed he didn’t give more details as to why his accounts were shut down, because I think he knows and just isn’t saying. He does mention in the comments he bought a lot of gift cards and used up his entire credit limit each month, so I suspect he does a lot of MSing. What do you think?

Exchange your Hyatt Free Night Certificate for Points: This post from Deals We Like explains how to exchange a Hyatt free night (Category 1-4) into 10,000 points. It can only be done when your free night is about to expire or has recently expired, but it’s nice to know it’s an option.

The Scoop on Real IDs: Your Mileage May Vary has a great post with info on Real IDs that are required for airport travel starting in October. I must renew my driver’s license before then!
