Japan Airlines Gives Away Free Flights for the Olympics: Via Miles to Memories, Japan Airlines is giving away 50,000 round-trip airline tickets within Japan to tourists visiting for the Olympics. The country is encouraging Olympic tourists to visit additional cities outside of Tokyo to see more of the country. Check out the details here.
2020 Miles and Points Travel Predictions: Travel with Grant posted predictions for what could happen in 2020 in the miles and points travel world. HIs predictions are very optimistic! I agree with his prediction that one or more of the budget airlines will merge. I would be ecstatic if a few of his predictions came true–like paying with miles and points combined for flights and 4X dining and travel on the CSR.
Coming Home After Traveling: This post on Your Mileage May Vary reminded me of how good it felt to come home after being gone for for 2 weeks this summer and 25 days last summer. I love travel, but there’s no place like home!
