Price Predictions for New Star Wars Hotel at Disney World

August 21, 2019 By Nancy 4 Comments

Hold onto your hats, folks. Today, a few sources revealed potential pricing for the new Star Wars immersive hotel that is currently under construction at Disney World.

The rumored pricing? For a 2-night/3-day stay (no 1-night stays are possible), the price for a cabin for one person is $3300. For a family of five, the price increases to $7200.

That’s more expensive than Disney Cruise Line! My family went on a 7-night Star Wars cruise last January in two cabins for less than that.

According to various Disney fan sites, the Star Wars hotel will be an all-inclusive entertainment experience. From the moment you board a space pod, to the views of space from your window, guests will feel like they are in another world. Food, drinks and a dinner show are rumored to be included in the price.

Disney still has not released a ton of details about this hotel, including the opening date.  You can read more about it and see construction photos here.

Basically, this is like an expensive virtual space cruise at astronomical Disney prices.

My family is traveling to Disney World next summer. I had hoped that maybe we could spend one night in this new Star Wars hotel. I think I changed my mind.

How do you feel about the pricing? Are you in camp “take my money already!” or “not in a million light years”?

The rate seems no sillier than families spending a few thousand dollars a night at Beaches Turks and Caicos because they’ve been brainwashed by all of their television advertising. If Disney can entice folks to pay $3,300 for a two night stay, all the power to them.

True. When my kids were younger, I looked into Beaches Turks and Caicos. For my family of five, the price was outrageous. Worse than a Disney Cruise by far. It looks lovely though. I’m sure that some folks will pay the price for the Star Wars hotel.
