IHG just posted its new PointBreaks list on its website. You can see all the details here.
These reduced rewards are available for bookings June 1 – August 31, 2019. Properties on the PointBreaks list cost 5000, 10000 or 15000 point per night.
Properties Worth Considering
Of course, whether any of these properties are useful really depends on your travel plans. A few that caught my eye:
Staybridge Suites Hot Springs, Arkansas—10,000 points. Hot Springs is on my family’s list. I hope we make it there soon.
Holiday Inn Express and Suites Twentynine Palms Joshua Tree, California—This is just seven miles from Joshua Tree National Park.
Candlewood Suites Galveston, Crowne Plaza San Antonio Airport and Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Antonio – Brooks City Base wouldn’t be bad choices for a road trip vacation in Texas for 10,000 points a night.
Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront—15,000 points. I have a soft spot for the beach.
Hotel Indigo Memphis Downtown—15,000 points. Great location and rooftop pool!

Just booked an extended weekend stay at HIX 29 Palms-Joshua Tree. We will use this as our base to explore Joshua Tree National Park. I was going to pay for a hotel in the area. This PointBreak list came in just in time!
