Changes to IHG PointBreaks program and a sneak peak of new list by LoyaltyLobby. It looks like IHG PointBreaks hotels will now cost 5,000-15,000 points per night. I actually think there might be silver lining to this dreadful news. Perhaps IHG will release more desirable hotels or maybe I’m just being delusional. The last few lists were not that great, though, if you are mostly interested in traveling around US. If IHG posts a full preview over the weekend, we will try to publish it.
The Marriott Rewards Premier Credit Card by Chase now has a different offer with no annual fee the first year. The bonus is 75,000 points after spending $3000 in the first three months. If you renew the card the second year for $85, you get a free anniversary stay in a Category 1-5 Marriott. This card is in our affiliate network and pays us commission. Keep in mind that Chase has a 5/24 rule for approvals. At some point this year, Chase and Amex will be offering new Marriott credit cards.

Do you know what the regular Marriott offer was our normally is?
Nancy says
@Talchinski It used to be 80,000 points but the annual fee was not waived the first year ($85). So with this offer you get 5000 fewer points but save $85.
